Nutrition & Diet Analysis Reports

The Food Processor program offers a variety of reports to help you analyze dietary intakes and recipes. Illustrated below are some of the reports available in the program.

Spreadsheet Report

The spreadsheet report shows all the values for all of the displayed nutrients. Nutrients are displayed horizontally by ingredient, with totals at the bottom of the list.

MyPlate Report

This report graphically compares a client’s actual daily food intake with the optimum daily intake (per MyPlate recommendations). Users can easily and quickly see where a diet may be falling short and the report offers suggestions for improvement.

Recommendations Report

This report lists a client’s specific nutrient recommendations, according to the DRI nutritional standards. The standards are based on the client’s age, gender, height, weight, and activity level.

Multi-Column Report

The Multi-Column Report provides a good summary of a client’s nutritional intake in a column format. The user can choose to view the actual nutrient intake, the recommended nutrient intake, and/or the percent recommended.

Bar Graph Report

The bar graph report shows total nutrient amounts, recommended amounts and the percent recommendation met. Bars visually compare how the nutrient intake compares to the nutritional standard.

Single Nutrient Report

The Single Nutrient Report shows what percentage of a specific nutrient each ingredient contributes to the total meal plan.

Single-Nutrient-ReportCalories and Fats Report

The Calories and Fats Report is useful for quickly seeing the calorie and fat breakdown for a diet analysis. The Source of Calories window shows graphically the percentage of calories from protein, carbohydrates, fat, and alcohol. The Source of Fat window shows the breakdown of fat (saturated, monounsaturated, polyunsaturated, and other fats.) This report can be displayed as a pie chart or a bar graph.
