ESHA Adds UK Nutrient File to its Food Database

Salem, OR –  ESHA Research announced today the addition of the entire UK food composition file to their food nutrition database, used in the flagship programs, Genesis R&D Food Development and Labeling Software and Food Processor Nutrition and Fitness Software.

The database adds more than 2,800 foods to ESHA’s master food database, with analysis information required for the European Union nutrition facts labels, such as salt and available carbs.

“This database addition will integrate seamlessly with the EU nutrition facts label, enabling users who sell products in the European Union to more easily create recipes and labels,” said CEO Craig Bennett.

Software users can automatically get the additional database foods by updating as part of their current Priority Support.
