USING THE CHECK DATA FEATURE TO VERIFY NUTRITIONAL ACCURACY
Software program: Genesis R&D Food and Food Processor
The Check Data feature offers three mathematical checks to assist with verifying nutritional data for user entered ingredients and recipes. If the Check Data button is green, the checked data in all three checks is within the set percent tolerance. If the Check Data button is red, there is at least one check that is outside the set percent tolerance. Red values should be checked by the user. If the numbers turn out to be correct, the percent tolerance can be adjusted until the results are listed in green (within tolerance).
This tutorial walks you through the steps for using the Check Data feature to verify how the information you entered compares with calculated values based on components. Note: This feature is similar in both Food Processor and Genesis R&D Food programs.
