ESHA Research Makes Financial Contribution to Oxfam America

Salem, OR –  ESHA Research, a leading provider of nutrition analysis software and food databases, is helping the fight against world hunger by making a financial contribution to Oxfam America for this year’s World Food Day on Oct. 16.

Oxfam America is part of the global Oxfam confederation working to “right the wrongs of poverty, hunger, and injustice.”

“We chose Oxfam this year because their commitment to finding long-term solutions for fighting hunger, reflects our values,” said Stephanie Ulrich, Marketing Manager at ESHA. “We believe that there are no simple answers, but looking forward is necessary and more useful than short-term, stopgap remedies, and this is what Oxfam is striving for.”

World Food Day is celebrated internationally every year on Oct. 16 in honor of the date of the founding of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in 1945.
