This tutorial shows you the modifications you can make to the automatically created Ingredient Statement. The Ingredient Statement screen within the Ingredient edit lets you set Alternate Names and text for use in creating future Ingredient Statements on your Label. The purpose of creating Alternate Names is two-fold: (1) to simplify, if necessary, the name of your Ingredient (example: “Chicken, boneless, for use in soup recipes” can read as “Boneless, skinless chicken”) and (2) to merge similar existing items.
