The Food Processor Version 11.1 Now Available
Salem, OR – ESHA Research, the leading provider of nutrition analysis software, today announced a major software upgrade to The Food Processor Nutrition Analysis Software. Version 11.1 continues the company’s mission to deliver the most comprehensive and powerful nutrition analysis software program on the market.
The latest release includes many updates to the nutrition database and features the much-anticipated Menu Plan add-on module, which lets users create an unlimited number of meal plans and cycle menus. “We continue listening to our customers and delivering enhancements that they request to make their jobs easier,” said Craig Bennett, CEO at ESHA Research. “Our customers are key to our success and drive all that we do.”
The Menu Plan module is designed to help foodservice professionals create and manage their recipes and cycle menus. “The Menu Plan features a quick-pick list of frequently used menu items to help users streamline menu creation,” stated Josh Luth, Project Manager at ESHA. “In addition, users can analyze their menus to ensure they are meeting the nutrition intake requirements of their patients and residents.”
“The Spring 2016 nutrition database update incorporates many food and ingredient changes as well,” said Elizabeth Braithwaite, Database Manager at ESHA. MyPlate values for U.S. foods were updated with regard to the 2015 Dietary Guidelines, and the latest USDA database release (SR-28) has been added.
