Salem, OR –  Leading nutrition analysis and labeling solutions provider, ESHA Research, has issued an eBook titled “Menu Labeling, What You Need to Know.” The eBook provides restaurant owners a deeper understanding of the FDA Menu Labeling Regulations.

Labeling provisions in the ACA (Affordable Care Act) require that restaurants and other retail food establishments provide access to nutrition information. This includes the display of calorie information for standard menu items and access to additional nutrient information for those same items. The FDA has finalized the menu label regulations and has set a compliance date of December 1, 2016.

“It’s a good idea for restaurant owners to start preparing for compliance now. Many restaurant owners still have questions about the new regulations, what it means for them, and what they’ll need to do to comply,” stated Craig Bennett, CEO at ESHA Research. “This eBook is designed to help answer those questions.”

Throughout the eBook ESHA provides insights and examples for menu labeling. It is available for download at https://esha.com/ebook-restaurant-menu-labeling-what-you-need-to-know.
